OUR APPROACH
Our Chapter unites various disciplines, including anaesthetist, neurosurgeons and medical neurologists, to effectively manage patients experiencing pain. We utilise techniques such as spinal cord stimulation (SCS), radiofrequency ablation and balloon compression of the trigeminal ganglion.

This collaborative team supports individuals with:
-
refractory cancer pain
-
refractory trigeminal neuralgia
-
non-cancer pain
-
persistent back pain
Our mission is to foster collaborative projects and high-quality research in the field of pain management by organising local and international interdisciplinary meetings and research initiatives.

INTEGRATING CARE AND RESEARCH
Clinical experience and research developments continuously inform our Chapter’s work. Current research interests include:
-
Multidisciplinary Pain Management Approaches
-
Understanding Pain Mechanisms
-
Clinical Evaluations and Quality of Life
This research‑informed approach helps ensure that emerging evidence, technologies and diagnostic tools benefit patient care.
