Welcome to the Clinical Neuroscience Consortium Annual Forum 2026
Welcome to the Clinical Neuroscience Consortium (CNC) Annual Forum 2026, the inaugural flagship event of our Consortium. Bringing together the academic excellence of HKUMed and the frontline clinical expertise of Queen Mary Hospital, we are honoured to host this exciting event on 17 and 18 July 2026, convening healthcare professionals, academics, and key stakeholders under one roof.
The CNC was established with a clear and shared purpose: to bridge the gap between laboratory breakthroughs and patient-centred, evidence-based treatments. Our unwavering collective goal is to translate scientific discovery into meaningful clinical impact, advancing the future of neuroscience care in Hong Kong and across the region.
Neurological disorders remain among the most complex healthcare challenges of our time, affecting millions globally and deeply impacting our local community. Addressing these challenges requires more than individual expertise—it calls for close collaboration across disciplines to unleash the full potential of emerging diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
We are privileged to welcome distinguished international speakers, including Professor Jacques Hugon from Université Paris Cité, alongside esteemed local experts in neurology, neurosurgery, and clinical neuroscience. Their insights will contribute to a dynamic and thought-provoking programme, which features the signature Tim and Jill Gallie Lecture, as well as thematic sessionsdesigned to foster knowledge exchange, encourage critical reflection, and explore advances in clinical practice.
Through this Forum, we aim to strengthen collaboration, inspire innovation, and reinforce Hong Kong’s role as a regional leader in clinical neuroscience. Most importantly, we seek to advance care that is grounded in evidence and centred on the needs of patients.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I extend our sincere appreciation to all speakers, partners, and participants for your invaluable support. I wish you a fruitful and rewarding experience at the Forum, and I look forward to the meaningful discussions and connections that will emerge.
Yours sincerely,

Professor Gilberto Ka-kit LEUNG
Convenor
